Jaiveer worked on a mentored research paper under the guidance of Louise Courbin, a PhD scholar at the University of St Andrews, specializing in international relations. He sought to examine the nuances of immigration policy in the European Union with a particular focus on the EU-Turkey Refugee deal as a case study, since it provided valuable insights into the management of immigration in both the EU and across the globe.

The paper, titled ‘Immigration in the European Union: The EU-Turkey Refugee deal,’ includes a comprehensive literature review along with a discourse analysis of the key objectives of this agreement and its global implications. The paper was accepted for publication in the IJSSER November 2023 issue.
