Jaiveer Chadha

Jaiveer Inder Chadha is a Grade 12 student at the Heritage International Xperiential School in Gurgaon, Haryana, where he studies Physics, Mathematics, Economics, English Literature, Business Management, and Spanish.

When he is not working toward his academic goals, Jaiveer enjoys writing about the world around him and donates his time to causes that can help make his immediate surroundings (and consequently, the world) a better place.

VOLUNTEERING

Jaiveer continues to be associated and work with reputed NGOs who work in the field of heritage conservation and biodiversity restoration.

RESEARCH

Jaiveer worked on a mentored research paper under the guidance of Louise Courbin, a PhD scholar at the University of St Andrews, specializing in international relations.

APPRENTICE

In 2021, Jaiveer designed a website called Apprentice, aimed at helping adolescents discover new interests and passions, along with potential career paths, through lectures from ‘Masters’ or industry experts in various fields. 

How do nations obtain power and wealth?

The contemporary global landscape - rooted in capitalist ideals and impulses - is governed by the proliferation of wealth and power networks that stem purely out of economic relations. Eighteenth-century political economist Adam Smith laid the groundwork for understanding this phenomenon, positing that a nation’s future income depends upon its ability to accumulate capital, and the more one invests in better productive relations, the more wealth will be generated in the future.
